What are HOA fees used for?

Road and ditch maintenance, weed suppression, property taxes on the subdivision common ground, legal fund, emergencies and administrative expenses.

Where can one recycle?

At the Dubois Landfill located at 100 Mountain View Drive. Please see details from Fremont County Solid Waste site at https://trashmatters.org/bale-stations/dubois/ for more information. View the list of recyclable items here. The Landfill is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00-4:00 (closed 1:00-2:00).

Is there garbage pick-up available?

Is there community water?

Residents have their own private wells with the exception of properties on Painted Hills Drive and the cul-de-sacs north of Painted Hills Drive. Those folks have the ability to tap into Town of Dubois water or choose to drill their own wells.

Where does one get mail delivered?

The majority of folks have post office boxes in town. Inquire at the post office regarding delivery.

What company supplies electrical power?

High Plains Power Cooperative. Please call 307-455-2475.

Is natural gas available in Dubois?

No. Folks who have gas heat/cooking/hot water use propane.

Are there phone land lines and internet available?

Yes. Please contact Range Telephone Cooperative at 307-455-2341. There are no construction fees for land lines in the subdivision. Fiber is available in the Painted Hills subdivision.

What medical facilities are there in Dubois?

There is one medical clinic in Dubois. The Dubois Medical Clinic is part of Rural Health in Wyoming. Phone 307-455-2516. The closest hospitals are located in Lander, Riverton and Jackson.

What emergency medical services are available in Dubois?

Fremont County currently contracts with Frontier Ambulance to provide ground transportation to the Riverton or Lander hospitals when 9-1-1 is called. The Upper Wind River Valley Ambulance Association has a separate contract with Guardian for emergency air transportation. This is supported through donations and covers anyone living in 82513 and 82512 zip codes which are Dubois and Crowheart. PLEASE DONATE.

Who maintains the subdivision roads?

There is a road committee with an annual budget for road maintenance. Roads are grated approximately 3-4 times a year, with other maintenance issues determined by the road committee. If you have a specific question about roads, please contact a member of the road committee.

What other medical providers are available locally?

Mountain Dental PC provides dental services twice weekly. The phone number is 307-455-2229.

Dubois Vision Center provides vision services once weekly . The phone number is 307-455-2125.

Is there a local pharmacy?

Yes. Dubois Drug Store is located at 126 East Ramshorn. If a doctor’s office is trying to locate The phone number is 307-455-2400.

Are higher education services offered in Dubois?

Central Wyoming College, with a campus in Riverton, services Dubois with an Outreach office at 308 West Ramshorn. The phone number is 307-455-2625.

Is there a cyber center in town?

Yes. The Adult Education and Cyber Center is located at 306 West Ramshorn. Phone number is 307-455-4011.
